BT Proxy questions and answers

Q: Does enable Bluetooth allow me to join bluetooth devices to the slzb-06 directly instead so that my homeassistant can access them.
A: The coordinator works as a bridge for BT packets, it forwards the received packets to the HA and they are further processed by the HA.

Q: Is there a benefit of adding Bluetooth devices to the coordinator instead of directly to Homeassistant?
A: if the coordinator is installed remotely then you can cover an additional area where the coordinator is installed. If the coordinator and HA are installed side by side then there are no benefits.

Q: There are some smart devices that uses bluetooth for example, Jale door locks, Ubiquiti sensors etc, can the coordinator accept those or is it impossible due to the proprietary nature of for example Jale door locks?
A: It depends on whether these devices supported in HA. The coordinator only forwards the received BT packets to the HA.

Q: Would I have to re-sync all devices again if I'd enable Bluetooth?
A: This does not affect your zigbee devices.

Q: Is it possible to revert the changes without having to repair the devices.
A: Yes, update your device via USB using this tool https://smlight.tech/flasher/#SLZB-06
